GAIS and Degerfors IF met on Monday evening at Gamla Ullevi. In front of an audience of 2,673, Lars Olsson officiated with Julia Magnusson Sandkvist and Anders Böwing as assistant referees.

Degerfors IF came out strong and took the lead after just eight minutes with a goal from Peter Samuelsson, assisted by Daniel Sundgren. GAIS fought back, and Luther Singh equalized to make it 1-1 in the 33rd minute, assisted by Johan Lundgren.

During the first half, the referee issued two yellow cards, one to Sandip Mankoo from GAIS and one to Erik Jernberg from Degerfors IF.
