Assyriska FF secured a dominant victory at Södertälje Football Arena when they faced Mjällby AIF in a Superettan match. In front of a crowd of 1,517, it was Assyriska that maintained the greatest control of the game from start to finish.

The first dangerous situation of the match arose after 16 minutes when Mjällby's Daniel Nilsson received a warning from referee Diako Behnam. Assyriska increased their tempo after that, and seven minutes later, it was Alexander Nilsson who scored the first goal of the match, assisted by Mattias Genc.

Just before half-time, Mjällby brought in Theophilus Ola for Eric Björkander, but it did little to change the course of the game. Right at the start of the second half, Gustavo Ezequiel Blanco Leschuk made it 2-0 for Assyriska, once again assisted by Genc.

Assyriska continued to press on, and Mjällby struggled to find any rhythm in their play. After 70 minutes, Christer Youssef scored to make it 3-0, which effectively decided the match. Both Mjällby's Lukas Grill and Daniel Nilsson, as well as Assyriska's Gustavo Ezequiel Blanco Leschuk, received warnings during the match.

Assyriska's Christopher Brandeborn, Jens Jakobsson, and Jerome Tibbling Ugwo came off the bench during the match, while Mjällby substituted in Simon Sjöblom and Armin Aganovic. The match ended 3-0 in favor of Assyriska, keeping them in fourth place in the standings while Mjällby remains in thirteenth place.
