Assyriska FF won a well-played match against Degerfors IF on Sunday afternoon at Södertälje Football Arena. The match ended 2-1 in favor of the home team, Assyriska FF, after they came back from an early goal by Degerfors IF.

Degerfors IF started the match strongly and seemed to have control over the game early on. After just 38 minutes of play, they had the away supporters behind the goal cheering when Patrik Anttonen headed in the opening goal following a nice assist from Tobias Solberg.

However, Assyriska FF appeared to have returned from the locker room with renewed energy. In the 55th minute, the team was rewarded with a goal after a fine pass from Christopher Brandeborn to scorer Mattias Genc. Genc struck beautifully and equalized the match, giving Assyriska FF a boost.

In the 64th minute, Assyriska FF took the lead with a penalty goal from Christer Youssef after Daniel Sundgren received a yellow card. Degerfors IF tried to find their way back into the match but failed to score again.

Despite several yellow cards and substitutions on both sides, Assyriska FF managed to maintain their lead and won the match 2-1. The team thus finished the season in fourth place in the table, while Degerfors IF ended in ninth place.
