Ljungskile SK took an important away victory by defeating IFK Värnamo 2-0 at Finnvedsvallen in Superettan. After a close first half where neither team managed to create any significant chances, it was Ljungskile who would open the scoring in the second half. Following a nice pass from Ahmed El Amrani, Gabriel Altemark Vanneryr was able to put the ball in the net, giving Ljungskile the lead in the 64th minute.

IFK Värnamo tried to rally, but it proved difficult against a well-organized Ljungskile that alternated between defending and attacking. The second goal also came from Ljungskile when Tim Nilsen made it 2-0 following a nice combination with Gabriel Altemark Vanneryr in the 79th minute.

IFK Värnamo fought until the last minute but never posed a serious threat to Ljungskile. Instead, the match came to an end, and Ljungskile could take three important points away from home. With this victory, Ljungskile moves up to fourth place in the table, while IFK Värnamo remains in a mid-table position.
