Trelleborgs FF crushed Ljungskile SK in Saturday's Superettan match at Vångavallen. The home team's Anton Tideman got TFF's attacking play going and, after just nine minutes, found Zoran Jovanovic, who calmly put the ball in the net.
Only seven minutes later, Trelleborg increased their lead to 2-0 through Marcus Pode. Tideman was once again involved in the goal as he played the ball to Pode, who had no trouble slotting it behind Ljungskile's goalkeeper.
Ljungskile tried to come back into the match, but TFF's defense held strong and was able to successfully tackle away the visitors' attacks. 27 minutes into the match, Ljungskile's David Frölund received a booking for a tough tackle.
At halftime, Ljungskile made two substitutions in hopes of turning the match around, but Trelleborg continued to dominate. In the 75th minute, Freddie Brorsson extended TFF's lead to 3-0 with a nice goal, and just six minutes later, Kristian Haynes converted a penalty, increasing Trelleborg’s lead to 4-0.
In the 80th minute, Ljungskile's Petter Björlund received a red card after a reckless play, making things even tougher for the visitors. With only nine minutes left in the match, Frölund received his second yellow card and was sent off.
The match ended 4-0 in favor of Trelleborgs FF, and the victory improved their league position to 10th place, while Ljungskile SK remained in 9th place in the standings.
