Athletic FC United won Sunday’s match against Syrianska FC 3-1 away at Södertälje Fotbollsarena. The match started well for the away team as Mohamed Buya Turay scored the first goal in the sixth minute. However, Syrianska FC quickly responded with a goal from Marko Nikolic in the eighteenth minute, assisted by Victor Wernersson.

After a fairly even first half, Turkay opened the scoring again for Athletic FC United in the 49th minute, this time assisted by Omar Eddahri. Despite attempts from Syrianska FC to come back into the match, including a substitution in the 66th minute when Charbel Ceylan replaced Charbel Georges, they were unable to score again.

In the seventy-first minute, Mohamed Buya Turay scored his third and the match's final goal for Athletic FC United, once again assisted by Omar Eddahri. Buya Turay's hat trick on this Sunday and his performance, along with Eddahri's two assists, were clearly decisive factors for the victory.

Just before the final whistle, teammate Haris Cirak came on as a substitute but unfortunately was also cautioned. The match concluded with another substitution for Athletic FC United in front of a crowd of 1,382 people. This was an important victory for the visiting team, which now climbs to fourth place in the Superettan table over Syrianska FC. Referee Per Melin officiated the match along with assistant referees Henrik Svensson and Johan Thalin.
