Åtvidabergs FF hosted league leaders Halmstad at their home ground, Kopparvallen, in front of 2,741 eager spectators. After a start where neither team was able to capitalize on their chances, Åtvidabergs FF made a substitution in the 18th minute, bringing on Joakim Juhlin for Sebastian Ramhorn.
