Assyriska FF and Syrianska FC met in an exciting Superettan match on Sunday evening at Södertälje Fotbollsarena in front of an impressive crowd of 4,576 spectators. The match was officiated by Lars Olsson, assisted by Robin Wilde and Conny Hugman.

It was a tough match from the start, with several warnings handed out to both teams. In the 56th minute, Alessandro Silva Pereira was substituted for Aziz Corr Nyang for Assyriska FF. It was a long-awaited opportunity for the visiting team to get their game going, and about fifteen minutes later, they finally managed to score when Ken Fagerberg made it 1-0 for Assyriska FF in the 80th minute. It was a real dream goal for the team and their supporters, who started to believe in a victory.

But Syrianska FC continued to fight, and in the 88th minute, August Wängberg scored an equalizer with a header to make it 1-1 after an assist from Louay Chanko. It became the saving grace for Syrianska FC, which thanks to the point managed to climb one position in the table. For Assyriska FF, it left a bitter taste in their mouths to lose the lead so late in the match.

The match was filled with excitement and some wonderful scoring opportunities, but it ended in a draw at 1-1. Assyriska FF is now in 11th place in the table, while Syrianska FC remains second to last. It was a well-deserved point for Syrianska FC, which never gave up and fought until the final whistle.
