Trelleborgs FF secured an important victory after defeating Assyriska FF 2-0 at home at Vångavallen in Sunday’s Superettan match. Trelleborg's Erik Andersson received a yellow card in the 19th minute, but it wasn't until after an hour of play that Alexander Blomqvist headed in the first goal of the match for Trelleborg. The assist was provided by Erik Andersson. The second half of the match was intense, with both teams trying to find the net, but it was Trelleborg that came to the forefront and created several dangerous chances. Assyriska's Simon Strand received a yellow card in the 73rd minute. Trelleborg made a substitution in the 74th minute, with Mattias Håkansson being replaced by Robin Andersson. In the 80th minute, Assyriska made their second substitution when Jerome Tibbling Ugwo replaced Aziz Corr Nyang. Trelleborg made their second substitution in the 82nd minute, with Salif Camara Jönsson being replaced by Freddie Brorsson.
