Match Report:

IFK Värnamo hosted Dalkurd at Finnvedsvallen in front of a crowd of 1,062 on Saturday afternoon. Both teams found themselves in the tough middle section of the Superettan table prior to the match.

The game kicked off and just seven minutes in, Jalid Kerkich Amar received a yellow card for Dalkurd. Both teams had a couple of yellow cards in the first half, where there were dangerous moments in both penalty areas but no significant goal-scoring chances.

The second half started with continued incidents on the pitch, with yellow cards given to both sides. After an hour of play, Dalkurd's Dusan Djuric was substituted for Erik Törnros. The game continued with both teams applying pressure and intense midfield play.

Five minutes later came a double chance when a shot from Värnamo's Pär Cederquist was blocked by the defense, and a rebound fell to Oscar Johansson Schellhas, whose shot narrowly missed the goal. However, it was quiet at Finnvedsvallen for just a few more minutes before the home team struck.

With eight minutes remaining in the match, Pär Cederquist delivered a brilliant pass that found Oscar Johansson Schellhas in space, who then easily placed the ball into the right corner, giving the home team a 1-0 lead. Dalkurd tried to apply pressure on IFK Värnamo with some dangerous attacks in the final minutes, but it wasn't enough, and the match ended 1-0 in favor of IFK Värnamo.
