Åtvidabergs FF hosted Örgryte IS FF at home on a sunny Monday evening at Kopparvallen. In front of a crowd of 2,194, the match began with a high tempo and many offensive chances from both teams. After 38 minutes of play, Örgryte were awarded a penalty, and Sebastian Ohlsson scored to give the guests a 1-0 lead.
Just before halftime, Örgryte's Björn Anklev received a yellow card for pulling down an Åtvidaberg player. The second half started with a boost in tempo from Åtvidaberg's side, but also with a yellow card for Shkodran Maholli.
However, after 60 minutes of play, it was Ammar Ahmed who equalized for Åtvidaberg with a free-kick goal that went just under the crossbar. Just a few minutes later, Maholli found the back of the net after a header from Simon Helg, giving the home team a 2-1 lead.
Örgryte tried to push for an equalizer, but it was Åtvidaberg who managed to score again after 74 minutes when Helg made it 3-1 after a nice pass from Maholli. The match saw several late yellow cards for both sides, but concluded with a well-deserved victory for Åtvidabergs FF, who remain in fifth place in the table. Örgryte IS FF stays in 10th place.
