Today, Syrianska FC and Assyriska FF faced off at Södertälje Football Arena in front of an audience of 4,180 people. The match was a fierce contest between two rival teams from Superettan. The referee for the match was Robert Daradic, assisted by Pär Lindström and Per Rehnlund.
Assyriska FF was the stronger side on the pitch, but it took until the 15th minute before we saw the first yellow card, awarded for a hard tackling attempt on a Syrianska FC player. The period continued with aggressive play from both teams.
At halftime, Assyriska FF made a substitution to try to change their play. David Durmaz came in for Joakim Askling. As the match continued in the second half, Assyriska FF made another substitution in the 56th minute, with Daniel Sliper replacing Kenny Pavey.
But it was Syrianska FC that would take the lead during the match. In the 60th minute, Yoann Arquin scored a goal, and Heradi Rashidi provided the assist. This turned out to be decisive for the match.
Assyriska FF received two yellow cards towards the end of the match. First, Fredrik Holster was cautioned in the 64th minute, and then Mattias Genc received a yellow card in the 90th minute. However, it was Kyle Konwea who got two yellow cards within a few seconds during the fourth minute of stoppage time and was therefore sent off.
This was also the last event of the match, and the final score was 1-0 to Syrianska FC. In the 83rd minute, Syrianska FC made a substitution where Nahir Oyal replaced Mattias Mete. Later, in the 84th minute, Syrianska FC made another substitution, with Igor Santos Koppe coming on for Heradi Rashidi. In the final minute, Syrianska FC also substituted Stefan Ilic for Charbel Georges. It was a tough but entertaining match.
