It was an exciting match at Gamla Ullevi when GAIS hosted Trelleborgs FF on Friday evening. The home team was in sixth place in the table while the visitors were in fifth place before the match. After a first half with several missed chances from both sides, it was GAIS that took the lead in the 37th minute. Luka Mijaljevic was able to slot the ball in after a nice pass from James Sinclair.

However, Trelleborgs FF showed that they were not going to give up, and shortly thereafter, Marcus Pode equalized with a goal after a pass from Salif Camara Jönsson. Pode, who would later become the star of the match, scored his second goal of the evening in the 49th minute, giving Trelleborgs FF a 1-2 lead.

But GAIS was not willing to give up, and Kieron Cadogan equalized in the 55th minute after a pass from Malkolm Moenza. Just a minute later, Dardan Rexhepi made it 3-2 after a crack in Trelleborgs FF's defense.

Trelleborgs FF continued to create chances, and Mattias Håkansson, who had just been substituted in, was able to score the equalizer for his team in the 90th minute. The match ultimately ended 3-3, and the audience at Gamla Ullevi was treated to an exciting and entertaining game.
