With an audience of nearly 1,750 people, it was highly thrilling when Frej Täby and Dalkurd faced off at Vikingavallen/Täby IP 1 on Saturday evening. Referee Diako Behnam and his assistants, Conny Hugman and Julia Magnusson Sandkvist, kept control of the game throughout the match.

Already in the fourth minute, Dalkurd received their first warning of the match after a tough tackle from Predrag Randelovic. Two minutes later, Frej Täby also received a warning for a similar tackle from Pontus Åsbrink.

However, it would take another 21 minutes before the first goal was scored. It was the home team Frej Täby that opened the scoring with a well-placed shot from Alagi Sosseh, assisted by Joakim Runnemo.

Frej Täby was not satisfied with just one goal. Just before half-time, the team earned a corner kick, which Pontus Silfwer capitalized on. He headed the ball in, with Filip Almström Tähti providing the assist, making it 2-0 for Frej Täby.

Dalkurd tried to get back into the match and brought on both Oke Akpoveta and Diego Montiel to try to create something on the field. It was only when Leonard Pllana came on that Dalkurd scored their first and only goal. Mirkan Aydin managed to head the ball in, but it was not enough to earn any points for the visiting Dalkurd.

The match ended 2-1 in favor of Frej Täby, leaving Dalkurd heading home empty-handed. It was an intense match with many warnings and substitutions, but it was the home team Frej Täby that maintained their lead and secured the victory in front of a large and hopeful crowd.
