Örjans Vall was filled with 2,939 spectators for the meeting between Halmstad and Åtvidabergs FF in Superettan on Sunday afternoon. Referee Robert Daradic and his assistants Robin Wilde and Peter Arnesson were ready to kick off the match.
Just four minutes in, the visiting Åtvidabergs FF took the lead through Simon Alexandersson, assisted by Shkodran Maholli. It wasn't until the 60th minute that Halmstad could equalize through Fredrik Olsson, assisted by Sead Haksabanovic.
Åtvidabergs FF then brought on Marijan Cosic and Samuel Leach Holm in search of a victory, and it seemed to pay off when Cosic scored to make it 2-1 in the 82nd minute, assisted by Kevin Deeromram. But Halmstad didn't give up and managed to equalize again thanks to Olsson, this time assisted by Alexander Berntsson, making it 2-2 in the 89th minute.
The match also featured some drama when Åtvidabergs FF's Jon Birkfeldt received two yellow cards and was sent off in the 84th minute, while Månz Berg received a warning in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
Despite a balanced match and several substitutions from both teams, the game ended in a draw, and both teams continued to grind in Superettan.
