It was an exciting match at Påskbergsvallen as Varbergs BoIS FC hosted Dalkurd in Superettan. Just 40 minutes into the match, the home team took the lead thanks to a goal from Joel Palmquist, assisted by Elias Andersson. Immediately after the goal, Dalkurd received a warning when Kujtim Bala picked up a yellow card.

In the 68th minute, Dalkurd substituted Leonard Pllana in for Georges Moussally, while the home team replaced Ivan Näsberg with Peter Nyström in the 72nd minute. Later, Varbergs BoIS FC substituted Joel Palmquist for Nsima Peter, and Dalkurd replaced Dusan Djuric with Diego Montiel and Omar Jagne with Ahmed Awad.

Nsima Peter provided an excellent assist to Mats Andre Kaland, who scored a second goal for the home team in the 76th minute. The home fans cheered, and it looked as if a secure victory was on the horizon. However, in the 81st minute, Mirkan Aydin reduced the deficit for Dalkurd with a header, assisted by Oke Akpoveta.

The match continued with thrilling substitutions and attempts from both teams, and as the clock ticked down towards the 90th minute, something unexpected happened. During stoppage time, Ahmed Awad scored a brilliant goal for Dalkurd, assisted by Kujtim Bala. The away team now seemed to have equalized, and the home fans sighed. But just a minute later, when the match had already reached stoppage time, Eric Nilsson passed to Nsima Peter, who scored his third goal of the evening, leading the home team to a 3-2 victory.

The match was well played by both teams, and the referee, Farouk Nehdi, did a good job along with assistant referees Pär Lindström and Dragan Markulic. The match also drew a large crowd of 2,711 spectators.
