Södertälje Football Arena hosted an exciting match between Syrianska FC and Halmstad on Sunday afternoon. 1,978 spectators were present to watch the clash between an average Syrianska struggling to stay in the Superettan and a Halmstad that, in turn, is chasing a playoff spot.

The match started intensely, and it didn't take long before Halmstad took the lead. In the 29th minute, Alexander Ruud Tveter scored the important opening goal, assisted by Jesper Westerberg. Syrianska quickly responded by resorting to violent methods, and Anmar Al Mubaraki received a yellow card in the 31st minute. Jesper Westerberg became the second player to be cautioned in the 33rd minute.

The following minutes turned into a messy and chaotic period, resulting in Mattias Liljestrand receiving a yellow card for a brutal and dangerous challenge by Syrianska in the 40th minute.

Syrianska FC made a substitution in the 54th minute, with Heradi Rashidi replacing Mattias Mete. Halmstad responded with a substitution six minutes later, when Jonathan Svedberg took Rebin Asaads’ place.

Syrianska FC kept fighting hard, and Heradi Rashidi finally managed to score an equalizer in the 89th minute. Yoann Arquin assisted with the goal, highlighting the importance of teamwork on the pitch.

The match ended in a draw, with a final score of 1-1. It was a well-played match where Halmstad took the lead, but Syrianska FC fought back in the end. Referee Nermin Cisic and his assistant referees Julian Poulsen Sosefo and Niklas Alfredsson performed well and ensured that the match flowed smoothly without serious issues.
