On Monday evening, Åtvidabergs FF faced GAIS at Kopparvallen in front of 1,432 spectators. Diako Behnam was the responsible referee, assisted by Anders Böwing and Julian Poulsen Sosefo.

After nineteen minutes, Åtvidaberg took the lead through Simon Alexandersson, who received a nice assist from Simon Helg. Just six minutes later, Ammar Ahmed was awarded a free kick, which he neatly converted into a goal, extending Åtvidaberg's lead to 2-0.

Shortly after the halftime break, GAIS pulled one back through Johan Ramhorn, making the match a bit more exciting. However, that excitement was short-lived as Shkodran Maholli, assisted by Simon Helg, increased Åtvidaberg's lead to 3-1. Just two minutes later, Maholli scored his second goal of the evening, pushing Åtvidaberg's lead to 4-1.

In the 83rd minute, GAIS managed to score their second goal through Dardan Rexhepi, but it was too late for a comeback. Åtvidaberg won the match with a final score of 4-2.

The match was not without its warnings and substitutions. Shkodran Maholli and Månz Berg from Åtvidaberg received warnings along with Craig Henderson from GAIS. There were also several substitutions, including Robin Book coming on for GAIS and Simon Marklund for Åtvidabergs FF.
