GAIS secured a hard-earned away victory at Falcon Alcohol-Free Arena, winning 2-1 against Falkenbergs FF in a Friday evening match. Falkenberg used their home advantage to try to take control of the game, but it was GAIS who took the lead just before halftime when Dardan Rexhepi managed to hammer the ball into the net. However, Falkenberg's Viktor Götesson equalized just a minute later, keeping the first half even.

After halftime, GAIS rallied and created several dangerous scoring chances. It was Rexhepi again who found the back of the net, following a header from James Sinclair shortly after the 68th minute of the match. Despite continued pressure from Falkenberg, GAIS managed to maintain their lead and bring home three points. A prestigious victory for GAIS, who now sit in 11th place in the table, while Falkenbergs FF remains in 13th place.
