It was a sunny Saturday afternoon when Dalkurd faced Gefle IF FF in Superettan at Borlänge Energi Arena. The crowd was present and hopeful for an exciting match. Referee Jim Petersson and his assistants Josef Alacam and Jon Lindholm officiated the game.
Already after 14 minutes, Dalkurd took the lead through Ahmed Awad. After a nice pass, Awad was able to put the ball in the net and celebrate in front of the 1113 spectators. Just two minutes later, the home team made a substitution, with Mohamed Bangura being replaced by Andrew Michael Stadler.
After half an hour of play, Dalkurd doubled their lead. Rawez Lawan received the ball from Ammar Ahmed and made no mistake placing it into the goal. Now Gefle IF FF began to feel the pressure and decided to substitute Piotr Johansson for René Makondele Muzola.
But unfortunately, it didn't help. In the 58th minute, Dalkurd made another substitution when Heradi Rashidi replaced Lawan. And just a few seconds later, Rashidi scored after a pass from Lawan, who had become the scorer.
Gefle IF FF continued to fight, and Christian Ljungberg received a yellow card in the 69th minute. Dalkurd continued to substitute players, allowing Yukiya Sugita to take over for Ahmed Awad in the 71st minute. Finally, with only six minutes left to play, Leonard Pllana had the chance to play instead of Stadler.
