It was an exciting match between Gefle IF FF and Falkenbergs FF at Gavlevallen in Superettan on Monday evening. With only 718 spectators present, the match was officiated by referee Johan Krantz, along with assistant referees Pär Lindström and Niklas Alfredsson.

Falkenbergs Erik Pärsson received a warning in the 86th minute, but it did not disturb him or his teammates when Viktor Götesson scored the first goal for Falkenbergs in the 33rd minute, giving the team an early lead of 0-1.

Gefle tried to come back, but Falkenberg's defense held up well. Kwame Bonsu from Gefle received a warning in the 36th minute, but Johan Oremo headed in a ball in the 38th minute, leveling the score and assisted by Jesper Florén.

Later in the first half, as Gefle struggled for more goals, they were awarded a penalty kick, which Oremo confidently converted into a goal, giving his team a 2-1 lead.

Falkenberg did not give up, and in the 72nd minute, they were rewarded with a goal from Mahmut Özen, once again leveling the score. Falkenberg kept the pressure on Gefle, who could not maintain their lead, and Christoffer Carlsson scored Falkenberg's third goal in the 77th minute, followed by a substitution where Per Karlsson came on for Dominic Chatto.

Gefle also made changes to try to secure a late equalizer with substitutions of Jens Portin and René Makondele Muzola, but it was Falkenberg who had the last word. Enock Kwakwa made a fantastic performance and scored the team’s fourth and final goal with an assist from Pärsson, which dashed all hopes of a comeback for Gefle.
