On Saturday afternoon, Åtvidabergs FF and Trelleborgs FF met at Kopparvallen in Superettan. With Trelleborg in sixth place and Åtvidaberg in thirteenth in the table, both teams knew it would be a tough match.
Already after seven minutes, Trelleborg took the lead through a fine performance by Marcus Pode, assisted by Robin Nilsson. Åtvidaberg fought on and in the 34th minute, Fredrik Holster received a yellow card.
In the second half, Åtvidaberg brought on Simon Marklund and Isac Lidberg, while Trelleborg introduced Erik Andersson. Johan Ramhorn received a yellow card in the 69th minute, and Trelleborg substituted Johannes Johansson for Zoran Jovanovic in the 78th minute.
With just five minutes left in the match, Åtvidaberg replaced Pekka Lagerblom and Trelleborg brought on Furkan Motori. In the 90th minute, Åtvidaberg was awarded a penalty, which Simon Helg converted perfectly to equalize at 1-1.
