In the end, it seemed like the match would finish in a draw, but Trelleborgs FF pressed for the win. In the 81st minute, Mattias Håkansson successfully scored with the assist from Zoran Jovanovic, bringing Trelleborgs FF up to 3-2. Degerfors IF tried to recover but could not manage it, instead, Jonas Olsson received a warning in the 89th minute.
