Östers IF continued to press GAIS, and in the 79th minute, Dragan Kapcevic struck and put Östers IF ahead 2-1 with a header, following an assist from Mattias Pavic.

GAIS responded immediately and put pressure on Östers IF. In the 86th minute, GAIS made a substitution, bringing in Alibek Aliev, who would prove to be the hero of the match. Just a few minutes after the substitution, Aliev managed to head in a ball from Anton Wede, equalizing the score to 2-2.

The match thus ended in a draw, with both teams earning one point each. GAIS remains in 11th place in the standings, while Östers IF occupies 6th place. The audience at Gamla Ullevi had witnessed an intense and exciting match that concluded with a fair result.
