It was a heated match between IFK Värnamo and Dalkurd at Finnvedsvallen on Sunday evening. The attendance of 1,081 witnessed both teams fighting hard to secure three points.
The match started with Albin Seger from IFK Värnamo receiving a yellow card just 13 minutes in. However, despite several chances from both sides, the score remained 0-0 at halftime.
In the second half, there were many substitutions with Johan Andersson coming on for Victor Nilsson for IFK Värnamo. Dalkurd made substitutions as well, bringing on both Richard Yarsuvat and Ammar Ahmed.
It was IFK Värnamo who scored the first goal of the match when Fredrik Lundgren found the net after an assist from Freddy Winsth. With only ten minutes left in the game, Ahmed Awad was brought on for Dalkurd in place of Ammar Ahmed. Unfortunately, Liridon Silka from IFK Värnamo received a yellow card in the 83rd minute.
But it was not until the final minutes of the match that Dalkurd managed to equalize after a substitution of Malkolm Moenza for Rawez Lawan. To the delight of the crowd, he scored the equalizer, and the match ended 1-1.
Referee Per Melin and assistant referees Pär Leek and Marcus Lundgren Klitte had their hands full monitoring both the players and the highly charged crowd throughout the match. A fair result considering the efforts of both teams.
