The match started intensively at Finnvedsvallen as IFK Värnamo took the lead already in the 7th minute. Melvin Frithzell scored with a precise finish after good work by Liridon Silka. Örgryte IS FF tried to find their way back into the match but struggled to create dangerous chances.

When the final whistle blew, it was clear that IFK Värnamo had won the match and secured a place in the top 6 of Superettan. Örgryte IS FF, on the other hand, ended up in 13th place in the standings and will need to reassess their options for next season. The crowd at Finnvedsvallen was treated to an exciting match with good football and many chances.
