IK Brage and GAIS met in an exciting match at Borlänge Energi Arena in front of a crowd of 2,255 people. Referee Antti Kanerva officiated the match with assistance from Conny Hugman and Anders Böwing.

The match started intensely, with a warning given to GAIS player Andreas Brinkeborn Östling just 11 minutes in. A warning for IK Brage's Simon Stenberg followed in the 20th minute. After 27 minutes, the home team scored, as Mihlali Mayambela found the back of the net, giving IK Brage a 1-0 lead. However, Mayambela received a warning just a minute later. GAIS continued to fight and made a substitution in the 31st minute, bringing Erik Kembel Westermark on for Allan Mohideen.
