In an exciting match at Gavlevallen, Gefle IF FF faced Östers IF in the Superettan. Östers IF took the lead just eleven minutes in when Dragan Kapcevic headed the ball in after a nice pass from Mattias Pavic. Just fifteen minutes later, Östers extended their lead to 2-0 through Simon Helg, assisted by Stefan Karlsson.

However, Gefle IF FF managed to reduce the deficit before halftime with a goal from Jesper Florén, bringing the score to 2-1 at the break. But in the 39th minute, Mattias Pavic scored his second goal of the evening, once again increasing Östers’ lead to 3-1.

In the second half, Gefle IF FF put in a strong effort, and Anton Kralj managed to score in the 58th minute, which gave the home team hope for a comeback. However, Östers were stronger this evening, and David Johannesson sealed the deal with his goal in the 60th minute.

The match ended 4-2 in favor of Östers IF, giving them an important victory in their quest for a better position in the standings. Gefle IF FF will have to continue their efforts to climb upwards and avoid relegation. Dominant Östers IF showed why they are higher up in the table, securing a well-deserved away victory in front of 869 spectators.
