On a rainy and cold Monday evening, Gefle IF FF and IK Brage faced off at Gavlevallen, in front of a crowd of 1,579 people. Referee Johan Krantz and his assistant referees Mesud Broström Kahrimanovic and Julia Magnusson Sandkvist were present to officiate the Superettan match.

Already after one minute into the match, IK Brage was reduced to ten men following the dismissal of coach Klebér Saarenpää. Despite this, the visitors managed to take the lead in the twelfth minute through Christian Kouakou, assisted by Kristian Andersen.

A few minutes later, Oscar Lundin from IK Brage received a warning from the referee. After 32 minutes of play, IK Brage substituted Robbin Sellin for Joseph Ceesay.

The second half started strong for IK Brage as they scored their second goal through Marcus Astvald from a penalty in the 46th minute.

In the 63rd minute, Gefle IF FF was awarded a red card after Jesper Florén was sent off. Despite this, Gefle IF FF tried to fight back and made several substitutions during the match.

Both Anton Kralj and Jonas Lantto from Gefle IF FF received cautions in the 76th and 79th minutes, respectively. As the match began to draw to a close, both IK Brage and Gefle IF FF made several substitutions, including Carlos Garcia Ambrosiani from IK Brage, who came on in the 84th minute.

The match concluded after three minutes of stoppage time due to warnings issued to Gefle IF FF’s Jacob Ouro Ortmark and Yassin Housni in the 90th and 93rd minutes. The result remained unchanged until the final whistle, with IK Brage claiming victory 2-0.
