Falkenbergs FF decisively defeated Degerfors IF 4-1 at home in front of an audience of 2,174 at Falcon Alcohol-Free Arena. Karl Söderström opened the scoring after five minutes, and just three minutes later, Chisom Egbuchunam increased the lead to 2-0 with an assist from Christoffer Carlsson. Egbuchunam was also the one to score 3-0 after 27 minutes.

In the second half, Degerfors reduced the deficit through Kevin Adrian Wright in the 59th minute, but Egbuchunam scored his third goal of the evening in the 69th minute from the penalty spot, completing his hat trick. Degerfors tried to come back but also missed a penalty taken by Nikola Ladan in the 85th minute.

The match was officiated by referee Mirza Kazic, with assistants Andreas Svensson and Daniel Yng. Degerfors attempted to switch to something more productive, but bringing in Alexander Andersson and Christos Gravius in the 45th minute did not yield enough to turn the game around. Falkenberg's substitutions of Enock Kwakwa, Edi Sylisufaj, and Herve Prudence Nshimirimana in the 79th and 86th minutes were also of little significance, as the match was already decided.
