Athletic Eskilstuna secured an important away victory as they defeated Norrby IF 2-0 at Borås Arena on Sunday evening. Despite a low attendance of only 498 spectators, the match featured intense football with several yellow cards and scoring chances for both sides.

The first yellow card of the match went to Athletic Eskilstuna's Ibrahim Blati Toure after eleven minutes, followed by a caution for Anel Rashkaj four minutes later. Norrby was not spared either, receiving their first yellow card when Nicklas Savolainen was booked after seventeen minutes.

The first goal of the match came after twenty-three minutes when Bajram Ajeti from Athletic Eskilstuna pushed the ball into the net. He was assisted by Rashkaj, who was involved in much of the play throughout the match. Norrby made a substitution when Adam Eriksson replaced Nino Osmanagic, but it did not seem to have any positive effect on their performance.

Athletic Eskilstuna continued to play with high intensity and created several chances to extend their lead. Just before halftime, the second goal arrived when Onyedikachukwu Samuel Nnamani scored with a header. This would be the final goal of the match, despite several opportunities for both teams during the second half.

Norrby made two substitutions in the second half, while Athletic Eskilstuna replaced Bajram Ajeti with Oke Akpoveta and Onyedikachukwu Samuel Nnamani with Gustav Jarl.
