Athletic Eskilstuna faced GAIS at Tunavallen in front of 1,927 spectators on Monday evening. It took just ten minutes for the home team to take the lead with a shot from Onyedikachukwu Samuel Nnamani, assisted by Anel Rashkaj. GAIS applied pressure and created chances, but Athletic Eskilstuna's defense held firm until two minutes into stoppage time of the first half when Andreas Brinkeborn Östling equalized for the visitors.
