Helsingborgs IF took a convincing 4-1 victory against IK Brage at Olympia on Wednesday evening in front of an audience of 5,231. The match began with a warning for the home team as Andreas Granqvist received an early caution in the eleventh minute. However, this did not deter the team, which took the lead after 37 minutes through Andri Rúnar Bjarnason, assisted by Rasmus Jönsson.

The second half started with a warning for Mohammed Abubakari from Helsingborg. But instead of losing focus, the team continued to press and were rewarded when Rasmus Jönsson scored to make it 2-0 after 50 minutes, assisted by Darijan Bojanic. However, IK Brage did not give up and reduced the deficit to 2-1 after 61 minutes through Joseph Ceesay.

Things turned quickly for Helsingborg, as just a couple of minutes later they scored again, this time through Mamudu Moro after a nice collaboration with Wanderson Do Carmo Carneiro. After 78 minutes, Andri Rúnar Bjarnason sealed the match with his second goal of the evening, assisted by Mohammed Abubakari.

The match ended with a yellow card for Helsingborg's Darijan Bojanic in the first minute of stoppage time. Helsingborgs IF thus takes the lead in the Superettan table, while IK Brage remains in fifth place.
