Örjans Vall was filled to the brim with eager football fans as Halmstad hosted Landskrona BoIS in a fast-paced and tough match in the Superettan. Already in the 13th minute, Halmstad took an early lead when Johan Oremo scored after a well-placed pass from his teammate.

After a fierce contest throughout the match, Landskrona BoIS made a spectacular effort by substituting Akram Mansour for Alexander Tkacz in the 62nd minute. Halmstad quickly responded with a substitution as well, bringing in Thomas Boakye for Ivo Dominik Pekalski in the 68th minute.

With only 10 minutes left in the match, Landskrona BoIS made a comeback when Sadat Karim scored to equalize at 1-1. However, Halmstad continued to fight, and just a minute later, Gabriel Gudmundsson found the net after an assist from Andreas Bengtsson.

Halmstad held on to their lead, and with just five minutes remaining, they replaced Johan Oremo with Andreas Hadenius. Landskrona BoIS also substituted Monday Samuel with Jakob Andersson with only a minute left in the game.

Halmstad tried to maintain possession in the closing stages of the match, and with mere moments before full time, they took off Jonathan Svedberg and brought on Oscar Petersson.
