Helsingborgs IF continued their unbeaten streak in the match against Halmstad at Olympia. Despite an early goal from Halmstad, Helsingborgs IF managed to fend off the threat and equalized thanks to a fantastic performance by Andri Rúnar Bjarnason.

The match started evenly, with both teams displaying solid defensive play. Despite this, Halmstad was able to create several chances, which resulted in a leading goal in the 57th minute by Gabriel Gudmundsson, who coolly placed the ball in the net.

However, Helsingborgs IF responded quickly to the goal, and just four minutes later, Andri Rúnar Bjarnason equalized, assisted by a nice pass from Darijan Bojanic. From there, Helsingborgs IF continued to press and created several dangerous goal-scoring opportunities but were unable to convert.

The tempo of the match increased, and several players from both teams received yellow cards. Halmstad was forced to substitute two players during the match, not least due to injuries.

The match ended in a draw with a final score of 1-1. Thanks to this result, Helsingborgs IF still leads the table in Superettan, while Halmstad remains in fourth place. Referee Johan Krantz deserved praise for a well officiated match at Olympia in front of 9,238 eager spectators.
