Östers IF and Helsingborgs IF met at Visma Arena in Växjö in front of an audience of 3,111 spectators. The match started at 1:30 PM on Saturday afternoon and the referee for the day was Per Melin. The assistant referees were Pär Lindström and Magnus Vallerius.

The match turned out to be an exciting event that featured a total of eight goals. Helsingborg took the lead in the 31st minute with a beautiful side-foot finish from Mohammed Abubakari. However, Östers quickly responded with a penalty goal from Simon Helg in the 45th minute, which was also the last goal of the first half.

Helsingborg continued to dominate Östers, who conceded two more goals by the 60th minute, with strikes from Mohammed Abubakari and Rasmus Jönsson, assisted by Mikael Dahlberg and Adam Eriksson.

Östers made substitutions in the 71st minute, bringing on David Johannesson and Carl Johansson, which gave the team new energy and they began their comeback. In the 85th minute, Mattias Pavic scored the second goal for Östers, assisted by Emir Avdic. Two minutes later, the team reduced the deficit further with a goal from Dragan Kapcevic, assisted by Stefan Karlsson. Östers’ finish was impressive, and they secured an equalizer in the 90th minute through Månz Berg, assisted by Liridon Silka.

The match ended 4-4, and it was an exciting and entertaining game that featured many goals and a high tempo. Both Östers and Helsingborg can take one point from the match and further experience in the tough Superettan league.
