An exciting match took place at Vångavallen as Trelleborgs FF hosted GAIS in front of an audience of 2,054 spectators. Just five minutes in, GAIS struck first, taking the lead 0-1 after August Wängberg's cool finish. Trelleborgs FF fought back and equalized in the 16th minute through Zoran Jovanovic, following a fine assist from Felix Hörberg. Hörberg himself then scored Trelleborg's second goal in the 25th minute, thanks to a nice pass from Salif Camara Jönsson.

But GAIS weren't ready to give up and worked hard to level the score with Nikola Ašćerić's equalizer in the 29th minute, after a good pass from Karl Bohm. The match became physical, and GAIS received several yellow cards, with Fredrik Klitte being particularly active.

Trelleborgs FF had to make two substitutions in the second half, while GAIS decided to bring in Arian Kabashi and Andreas Brinkeborn Östling, replacing Nikola Ašćerić and Predrag Randelovic. GAIS fought hard but could not secure a win, and the match ended 2-2.

A solid performance from both teams, earning themselves a point each. Now both teams are reloading for the upcoming matches in Superettan.
