It was an intense match played at Strandvallen A-plan when Mjällby AIF faced Västerås SK FK in Superettan. A crowd of 1009 spectators cheered on the teams as referee Fredrik Klitte blew the whistle to kick off the match on Saturday afternoon.

Already in the eighth minute, Mjällby AIF's Mohammed Mbye received a yellow card, followed by a yellow card for Mohanad Jeahze in the 21st minute. But it was Mjällby who would take the lead when Pavle Vagic scored the ball into Västerås' goal in the 22nd minute.

Västerås substituted Boris Ljevar for Samuel Leach Holm in the 26th minute, and shortly after, Brian Span received a yellow card in the 32nd minute. Just before halftime, Mjällby substituted Mohammed Mbye for Jakob Ottosson, and Pavle Vagic received a yellow card during injury time.

In the second half, the teams continued to battle. Mjällby brought in Bubacarr Jobe, and Västerås substituted Filip Tronét in the 64th minute. Karwan Safari equalized for Västerås in the 65th minute, but Carlos Gaete Moggia received a yellow card just two minutes later.

In the 71st minute, Mjällby scored their second goal through Bubacarr Jobe with an assist from Jacob Bergström. Jobe received a yellow card in the 72nd minute, followed by yellow cards for Joel Nilsson and David Löfquist of Mjällby in the 74th and 90th minutes, respectively.

The match ended 2-1 in favor of Mjällby AIF, and the teams continue to fight for a better position in Superettan.
