Just twelve minutes in, Syrianska FC took the lead thanks to an own goal from Jönköpings Södra IF. The visitors fought hard to equalize, but the home team defended well and held on until halftime.

In the second half, the match continued with chances for both sides. Syrianska FC brought on Mauricio Albornoz Inola in the 61st minute, which turned out to be a smart move. After 89 minutes, Jönköpings Södra IF finally managed to equalize through Jakob Orlov, assisted by Fredric Fendrich.
