Varbergs BoIS FC welcomed Norrby IF at Påskbergsvallen in an exciting match in Superettan. With an audience of 1,960 people and referee Per Melin along with assistants Jonas Bäcklund and Christian Tennstedt, the arena was filled with anticipation.

The match kicked off at 4:00 PM on Saturday afternoon, and it didn’t take long for Varbergs BoIS FC to show what they were made of. Already in the sixth minute, it was Nahom Girmai Netabay who scored for the home team after an assist from Perparim Beqaj. Following the first goal, the home team continued to apply pressure, and it wasn’t long before Perparim Beqaj scored himself in the 54th minute with an assist from Daniel Krezic, giving Varbergs BoIS FC a 2-0 lead.

Norrby IF tried to find their way back into the match and substituted in Jesper Brandt and Dijan Vukojevic in the 58th minute to increase the pressure and score goals. However, it was Varbergs BoIS FC that extended their lead through Astrit Selmani, who scored in the 66th minute with an assist from Rebin Asaad, and the home crowd began to sing victory songs.

Norrby IF continued to fight and managed to reduce the deficit through Didric Andersson, who scored a header in the 73rd minute after an assist from Jasen Khayat. But it would take until the 90th minute before they would find the net again, this time with Didric Andersson once more, who scored his second goal of the day with an assist from Dijan Vukojevic.

Despite a strong finish from Norrby IF, it was not enough to turn the match around, and after 90 thrilling minutes, the match ended 3-2 in favor of Varbergs BoIS FC, who were able to celebrate the victory and three important points in Superettan.
