In an exciting match at Gamla Ullevi, Degerfors IF managed to defeat GAIS with a score of 0-3. It was an intense game with plenty of physical battles and ball possession exchanged between both teams. It was clear on the pitch that both teams wanted to win.

Degerfors was the better team right from the start and controlled the game. After 11 minutes, Rasmus Alm managed to get past the GAIS defense and scored, giving Degerfors an early lead of 0-1. GAIS seemed to struggle to get into the match, while Degerfors continued to apply offensive pressure. In the 27th minute, Axel Lindahl broke free and extended Degerfors' lead to 0-2.

Before the halftime break, GAIS made a substitution, with Nuha Jatta coming on for Niklas Olsson. GAIS tried to get back into the match by increasing their intensity, but in the 70th minute, Marcus Astvald scored Degerfors' third goal of the evening, assisted by Rasmus Alm.

GAIS desperately attempted to reduce the deficit through intense efforts and several substitutions. However, nothing worked for them, and the match ended with Degerfors IF winning 0-3. In the final moments, Degerfors was very disciplined in their defense, preventing GAIS from creating any scoring chances.

Referee Per Melin had full control of the match, despite several physical encounters. A total of two players received yellow cards, one from each team. The crowd at Gamla Ullevi numbered 1,857 and created a wonderful atmosphere with singing and applause. Degerfors IF could celebrate a well-deserved victory, while GAIS must now look forward and prepare for their next match.
