Jönköpings Södra IF took an important away victory against IK Frej Täby at Vikingavallen/Täby IP 1 in the Superettan on Friday evening. The first half was evenly matched but without any major chances for either side. In the second half, more happened. Instead, Daryl Smylie scored 1-3 for Jönköping with six minutes left in the match, thus securing the victory for the guests. Joakim Karlsson received a warning for Jönköping, and Daniel Higraff was the referee for the match, assisted by Niklas Alfredsson and Imran Tariq. A total of 803 people were present to see Jönköping achieve their fourth consecutive victory in the Superettan. With the win, they moved up to third place in the standings, while Frej remained in 14th place.
