Mjällby AIF faced IF Brommapojkarna in a Superettan match on Sunday afternoon. Strandvallen's A-field was packed with 2,016 spectators eagerly awaiting an exciting match.

Both teams started with high energy, but it was IF Brommapojkarna who received the first yellow card after a rough tackle by Ali Suljic in the 30th minute. Mjällby AIF's Michael Junior Omoh also received a yellow card just eight minutes later for a similar tackle.

In stoppage time of the first half, Omoh did it again and received his second yellow card, resulting in his expulsion and leaving Mjällby AIF to play with one man down for the rest of the match.

Mjällby AIF attempted once more to reduce the deficit, but being two goals down and one man short made it too difficult to turn the match around. IF Brommapojkarna secured the victory with a score of 0 - 2, taking three points back home to Stockholm.
