Match report:

The Superettan match on Saturday evening between Västerås SK FK and GAIS attracted 2068 spectators to Hitachi Energy Arena. Referee Per Melin and his assistants Daniel Yng and Niklas Alfredsson officiated the match.

Just 25 minutes in, GAIS's Niklas Andersen received a yellow card, followed by a goal-scoring chance for Västerås's Emil Skogh, which, however, did not result in a goal.

Just before halftime, Västerås took the lead when Skogh scored, assisted by Karwan Safari, making the score 1-0.

In the second half, GAIS received another yellow card when Marcus Bergholtz was cautioned. After 60 minutes, Västerås extended their lead to 2-0 when Sean Sabetkar found the net.

Emil Skogh would once again get a chance to score and netted his second goal of the evening, assisted by Brian Span, bringing the score to 3-0.

Seventy minutes into the match, GAIS made their first substitution, and a minute later, Karl Bohm received a yellow card. Västerås's Ravy Tsouka-Dozi also picked up a yellow card.

During the last twenty minutes of the match, several player substitutions occurred. Västerås's Douglas Karlberg came on for Emil Skogh. GAIS also made two substitutions and received a yellow card for Niklas Andersen.

With just over five minutes left in the match, Douglas Karlberg scored, extending Västerås's lead to 4-0.

The match concluded with substitutions from Västerås, where Dennis Persson replaced Brian Span, and in stoppage time, GAIS's Karl Bohm scored a consolation goal, reducing the score to 4-1.

When the referee blew the whistle to end the match, Västerås SK FK joyfully acknowledged their strong 4-1 victory over GAIS.
