Monday night featured an exciting Superettan match between Mjällby AIF and Syrianska FC at Strandvallen A-plan, in front of a crowd of 4,145 spectators. Referee Robert Daradic officiated the match, assisted by Pär Leek and Anders Böwing.

Mjällby AIF took an early lead with two quick goals. In the 20th minute, Jesper Löfgren scored the first goal, and just two minutes later, Michael Junior Omoh made it 2-0 with an assist from Joel Nilsson.

Syrianska FC tried to fight their way back into the match but failed to create any really dangerous chances. Instead, they received three yellow cards during the match. Anders Bååth was cautioned in the 30th minute, while Andrew Michael Stadler and Abdel Rhamane Khalil Diarra received their bookings in the 63rd and 65th minutes, respectively.

Mjällby AIF also picked up a yellow card when Mohanad Jeahze was cautioned in the 70th minute. Syrianska FC’s Elias Durmaz also received a yellow card in the 71st minute.

Mjällby AIF made three substitutions during the match. Taylor Silverholt came on in the 57th minute for Charbel Georges, and in the 60th minute, Carljohan Eriksson was substituted for Nino Irgolic. In the final minutes of the match, Michael Junior Omoh was replaced by Kevin Höög Jansson.

The match ended 2-0 in favor of Mjällby AIF, which means they now lead the table. Syrianska FC remains at the bottom and will need a significant improvement to avoid relegation.
