The match between Västerås SK FK and GAIS at Hitachi Energy Arena ended 2-2 after a dramatic second half.

It was Västerås SK that took the lead just three minutes in when Karwan Safari scored 1-0 after a nice pass from Jonas Hellgren. He was then on target again in the 16th minute, nodding in 2-0 after an assist from Pedro Nezio De Araujo Lopes Ribeiro.

GAIS fought back and reduced the deficit to 2-1 just before halftime when Mervan Celik scored, assisted by Richard Yarsuvat. In the second half, GAIS continued to apply pressure and managed to equalize to 2-2 in the 56th minute through Carl Elfgren, assisted by Mervan Celik.

The match remained intense with several chances for both sides. Crazy enough, Mervan Celik missed a penalty for GAIS in the 66th minute, keeping the score at 2-2.

Although GAIS fought hard for a victory, they were unable to bring home three points. Västerås SK FK remains in sixth place in the table while GAIS continues to struggle at the bottom of Superettan.
