The match started at a high tempo, and it didn't take long for the home team Trelleborgs FF to take the lead. Just six minutes in, Erik Andersson scored to make it 1-0 after a nice pass from Oscar Johansson Schellhas. Only five minutes later, Abdul Fatawu Safiu extended the lead to 2-0 after a great build-up from Herman Hallberg.

Dalkurd quickly fought back and reduced the deficit to 2-1 through Kerfala Cissoko after a penalty in the 21st minute. But Trelleborgs responded immediately, and Safiu scored his second goal of the day, this time also from the penalty spot, restoring the two-goal lead.

Before halftime, Safiu completed his hat-trick by making it 4-1 after an assist from Hampus Nilsson. Dalkurd also had Christoffer Styffe sent off following a serious foul just before the break.

In the second half, Dalkurd tried to get back into the match but failed to apply any real pressure on Trelborg's defense. Instead, it was the home team that had several chances to extend their lead, but the score remained unchanged, and the match ended 4-1 in favor of Trelleborgs FF.

After the match, Trelleborgs FF is in 9th place in the table, while Dalkurd is in 13th place. It was an important victory for Trelleborgs, showing that they are a team to be reckoned with in Superettan.
