Östers IF hosted IK Brage at Visma Arena in an eventful match in Superettan. Despite the absence of spectators due to the current circumstances, both teams delivered entertaining football.
It was Östers IF that took the lead in the 19th minute when Petar Petrovic headed the ball in after a well-placed cross from Carl Johansson. However, IK Brage responded quickly, equalizing in the 40th minute with a goal from Robbin Sellin, assisted by André Kamp.
After an intense first half, the teams went into halftime with the score at 1-1. IK Brage made two substitutions at halftime, but it was Östers IF that took control in the second half.
Nicolas Mortensen scored to make it 2-1 for the home team in the 49th minute and then increased it to 3-1 in the 58th minute, again assisted by Carl Johansson. Nevertheless, IK Brage did not give up and reduced the score to 3-2 through Seth Hellberg in the 59th minute.
However, Östers IF held on and secured the victory when Mattias Pavic made it 4-2 in the 90th minute. Despite a late reduction from IK Brage, they failed to create any real pressure on Östers IF, and the match ended 4-2 in favor of the home team.
An important result for Östers IF, who earned three points and climbed the table, while IK Brage left without any points this time. A well-played match that featured several beautifully executed goals and exciting moments on the pitch. Enzo Vesprini officiated the match confidently as the referee.
