The game remained even, with both teams creating chances, but it wasn't until the 55th minute that the first goal came. Ailton Jose Almeida scored to make it 1-0 after an assist from Kevin Ackermann.

Örgryte continued to dominate the match, and in the 61st minute, they extended their lead with Adam Bergmark Wiberg scoring to make it 2-0. Despite intense pressure from Norrby, they were unable to get any closer, and the match ended 2-0 in favor of Örgryte IS Football.

Both teams made several substitutions throughout the match in an attempt to change the outcome, but it was Örgryte who emerged victorious when referee Andreas Dufva-Johansson blew the final whistle. This was an important win for Örgryte, bringing them one step closer to their goals in Superettan.
