In the 56th minute, Västerås suffered an own goal, and Sundsvall managed to equalize once again. But it would take until the 74th minute before the decisive moment came. Tronét managed to provide his second assist of the day and scored himself, putting Västerås ahead 3-2.

The match featured several heated duels, and both teams had a player cautioned during the course of the game. Despite several substitutions, neither team was able to change the result, and Västerås ultimately held on to secure three important points in Superettan.
